Hermix in review: Half-year 2025 highlights

We’re halfway through the year, and Hermix is moving fast: new clients, partners, features, events, webinars, you name it.

Most important new product features

New data sources

We added new data sources. We now monitor tenders and clean-up data from TED (EU-wide tenders, European and international institutions), e-tendering, the EU funding portal, various European institutions websites, Eurostat, and ECB, as well as national portals from Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Germany, UK, Spain, and more.

Smart data, intelligence insights 

AI Tender Summarization and AI Tender Chat

We introduced powerful new modules that help you quickly identify the most relevant tenders using AI. The tool allows you to check project scope, eligibility conditions, and evaluation criteria in minutes, saving hours for presales managers in their daily tasks.

The AI Tender chat allows you to obtain personal insights for a specific tender opportunity in just a few seconds. It helps you navigate complex documents effortlessly.

Tender automation and generation with AI

We upgraded our bid automation tools. This saves time, ensures consistency, and increases your chances of success by streamlining the entire tendering process. We now offer support for proposal automation and generation with AI and GPT.

Custom AI analysis of my own files

You can upload your own tender documents, for custom AI analysis, using our built-in AI summarization and AI Chat.

AI-powered Q&A classification

AI organizes and classifies Q&A items to make key questions and answers easier to find and read. You can export the results as PDF, Excel, or HTML files.

Calendars of contract renewals

Calendars help you monitor contract renewals so you never miss important deadlines or renewal opportunities.

Network graphs of customers and suppliers

Network graphs show the connections between customers and suppliers, making it easier to identify key players, strategic relationships, and potential business opportunities.

Additional data filters and search options

You can apply additional filters to search and monitor the most relevant opportunities for you – e.g. by data source, location (country, region), keywords, and exact phrases. 

Expanded data export and reporting capabilities

You can now export up to 5,000 opportunities in Excel. Additionally, you have more powerful export tools in Pdf, Excel, or via email.

Alert email options

You can customize alert emails, e.g. to include up to 100 opportunities in each email, configure how much detail to be displayed, and select the format: detailed, short, or tabular.

Collaboration, productivity, and automation

Kanban board of opportunities

It helps team members manage the flagged opportunities of their organization in a Kanban board.

Custom flags, owners, comments on opportunities

You can create and customize flags for opportunities, to help organize and prioritize them according to your specific needs. The custom flags can be used to monitor the state of an opportunity, the level of interest, or any other relevant criteria. 

This feature also allows teams to assign ownership of opportunities to specific colleagues, ensuring accountability and streamlining of the sales process.  

Team members can comment on opportunities to share updates, and check the history of activities, including past comments, owners, and flags.

Custom tags for companies and authorities

You can categorize authorities and contractors using your custom tags. You can classify companies, e.g. into partners or competitors. You can classify authorities, e.g.  into clients,  leads, key accounts, or EU institutions. You can manage your own tags and lists. You can also use these lists as filters in reports, or email alerts.

You can share reports and report templates easily by email, besides downloading them as pdf, Excel or csv.

Events & webinars

We were present in prestigious events as speakers or guests, e.g., WAICF – World AI Cannes Festival, Nexus Luxembourg, EU TechConnect Forum, and National and European procurement conferences.

We hosted two live webinars

  • January 21st, Hermix news, demo & training a live demo of Hermix, showcasing key features such as tender monitoring, alerts, AI summarization, Tender Chat, market insights, authority profiles, competition analysis, and collaboration tools.

The main topics discussed were: How AI makes tender analysis and decisions easier; Winning public contracts with smart AI tools; Hermix demo: key features like alerts, AI summaries, tender chat, market insights, competition analysis, and team tools like flags & Kanban

  • May 5th, Data governance and AI in public sector and procurement – how AI simplifies tender analysis and decision-making, and how to win public contracts using AI strategies. Special guests: Michel Bosco, AI and space expert at EuropIA and associate professor at Université Côte d’Azur, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Joep Crompvoets, full professor at the Public Governance Institute, KU Leuven.

The main topics discussed were:  Data governance: large data, reusability, interoperability; AI policies: key insights on AI Act, data Act; AI in procurement: transforming public spending.

We were also invited to the podcast of Thomas Wittig’s from Wittigonia, where we had a great time talking about what really matters in public procurement, how it works, and why data and AI become critical in winning public contracts.

Besides our already established partnerships with Amazon AWS Activate and Microsoft for Startups, we were also admitted in the Nvidia Inception program, making use of the newest AI tools, technologies and resources.

We continue to run new break-through research projects, e.g. an exciting EU Eureka Eurostars grant, in collaboration with top universities and researchers such as the University of Luxembourg and KU Leuven.

Clients success stories

  1. Capgemini and Unisystems won a €6.6 million contract for IT Operations, Engineering, and Evolution services.
  1. Hermix’s clients, ARHS, Aricoma (Qinshift), Fincons, Thaleria, Unisys, Westpole, and VASS are among the companies awarded the contract for “Provision of external service providers for DG TAXUD.”
  1. Eight of the companies awarded the contract for “IT services: consulting, software development, Internet, and support European Parliament”,  Aricoma, Cleverlance Autocont, Engineering Group, Fincons, Qualco, Seidor, and Trasys – Network Research Belgium, are Hermix’s clients.

These used Hermix to help them find and win this public tender. With Hermix’s AI-powered tools, they could track opportunities, understand the market, and make better decisions in real time. This helped them stand out and succeed in a competitive process.
